We recently purchased a new construction spec home from McNaughton Homes (the house was already built and we were not a part of the building or selections process). Even though we were not a part of the building process, we would have made all the same selections and feel like we picked out all the details. The house is absolutely beautiful, solid, with meticulous craftsmanship. The care and passion that went into building the house are very evident. I have purchased a new build before and the process with McNaughton Homes has been a night/day difference. The attention to detail and value in everything included in the new build really impressed us. I thought the final walk through would be walking through the house “looking for flaws,” but it wasn’t that at all (and there weren’t any flaws to point out anyway). Mark and Kris did an awesome and thorough job at walking us through the ins and outs of the entire house. We learned so much about how to maintain the house as well as understood what details went into the house. Chris was the agent that we worked with to view the house and purchase. He was very helpful and patient answering all of our questions. He was also very accommodating allowing us to visit the house multiple times before settlement. Maura/Cynthia and Michelle were very helpful during the settlement process. They both took their time ensuring all of our questions were answered. Michelle put together a whole binder detailing every aspect of the build neatly organizing any information we may need in the future. We were also appreciative of maintaining contact with the entire team well after settlement to ensure we had a great experience (they didn’t just hand us the keys and forget about us). We highly recommend McNaughton Homes. I thought purchasing a home was supposed to be a stressful experience and they proved that completely wrong. We are both really happy and look forward to continuing the process that McNaughton Homes started of making this house our home.
